Festive Pottery Workshop at Three Colts Tavern

Come down to your favourite Bethnal Green bar (Three Colts Tavern) for an evening of Christmas decoration making. We will guide you through how to make Christmas decorations in a range of shapes, sizes and designs. Or if you prefer to make a small gift for a family member or friend we will help you to make them something they will treasure.
 
Homemade pizza, locally brewed beer, cocktails and wine will all be available from the bar to sip whilst you make. The session will be run by professional potters and good friends Flo (Florence Mytum Ceramics) and Suzy (We Are Clay). 
 
Materials, glazing and the firing of your piece(s) are all included in the price. Flo and Suzy will glaze and fire your piece(s) and they will be ready for collection from the Three Colts from the evening of Monday 16th December - in time for Christmas. No experience necessary - suitable for all levels, beginners and seasoned pros alike!

  • Useful Info

    • Please note we will not be painting the decorations with colour in this workshop and all pieces will be glazed using a clear glaze.

    • Your email confirmation will act as your ticket for the workshop

    • We hope you understand that you cannot bring your own drinks or food to the venue

    • Clay comes out easily from your clothes so no need to bring anything special to wear. If you have an apron you can bring it along but it is not a requirement

    • You may want to cut your nails before the workshop as it makes it easier but this is not a requirement

    • We are offering one ticket at a reduced cost of £15 for someone who would otherwise struggle to afford a full price ticket. This will be given on a first come first serve basis and will be confidential. Just email flo@florencemytum.com

    • Cancellation policy - if you need to cancel you will get a full refund up to 48 hours before the event. Cancellations after this time will not be subject to a refund.
